The tug Nadir has a new base in Grenaa

“THE PORT OF GRENAA IS CENTRALLY LOCATED”

When the tug Nadir was moored in the Port of Grenaa last year, owner Jan Møller saw Nadir being called in for a number of jobs:

“Ship’s agents looked up the nearest tugs on AIS when there was a job, and here we experienced many enquiries.”

It is based on this experience that Jan Møller, owner of Agger Tug ApS, has chosen to move Nadir’s permanent base from Thyborøn to Grenaa:

“The Port of Grenaa is located in the middle of everything that happens on the east coast. It's the best location concerning the jobs we have around Sweden and Zealand, among others.
Furthermore, larger and larger ships and barges are coming to Grenaa, for which we can do jobs for.”

DOING JOBS AROUND THE CLOCK, ALL YEAR ROUND

Nadir is 26.5 metres long and can haul 30 tonnes with two anchors out. It is available around the clock, all year round.
