Ferries- & shipping lines
Stena Line runs regular ferries to Varberg, and the Anholt ferry sails to the island of Anholt from the Port of Grenaa's ferry port. Cargo and ro-ro ships also dock here, with cargo to and from the Nordic Region.
Grenaa-Varberg with Stena Line
Take a shortcut to Sweden with Stena Line Grenaa: Drive onboard the ferry from Grenaa to Varberg, and arrive in Sweden in less than 4½ hours. Stena Line Grenaa has several daily departures between Grenaa and Varberg - just one hour's drive south of Gothenburg.

Grenaa-Anholt with the Anholt Ferry
Sailing time from Grenaa to Anholt takes around 3 hours. This idyllic island lying in the middle of the Kattegat is a haven for visitors, with its lovely scenery and stress-free atmosphere.

Getting to the Grenaa ferry port, parking etc.
Getting to and from the ferry port is easy by road or bus. Line 888 from Copenhagen stops at the terminal itself. For buses from Aarhus, Randers and Ebeltoft to the Grenaa Traffic Terminal, see rejseplanen.dk.
There are approx. 3.5 km from the Grenaa Traffic Terminal in the town centre to the port, from where there is a local bus service. For departures, go to midttrafik.dk.
If arriving at the port by car (which you are not taking onboard), there is free parking by the ferry terminal (with CCTV surveillance). For detailed information on parking, go to the Anholtfærgen website.

Shipping lines to and from the Port of Grenaa
NorLines sail with general and project cargo between Oslo Fjord and western Norway to Bergen, and between Kristiansand and Tromsø. The route goes south to Swinoujscie in Poland to pick up loads for the northbound leg to Grenaa. The Finland route starts in Haugesund, Norway, calls at Grenaa, terminating in Turku, Finland.
